- Salary range: $35.77 to $36.24 p.h. (NG2)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
The Townsville Hospital and Health Service (HHS) is providing an opportunity for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island employment of undergraduate students of nursing or midwifery to work part-time whilst completing their undergraduate studies. This will enable students to further develop their clinical skills through exposure to the clinical setting.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualification: Student in Nursing applicants will be undertaking or have completed, on a full-time basis, the second semester of the second year of a pre-registration university program or is undertaking the fourth semester of a second year post graduate pre-registration university program in a nursing qualification approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
- Qualification: Student in Midwifery applicants will be undertaking or have completed, 3rd or 4th year pre-registration university program in a midwifery qualification approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
- Accommodation: On-site single staff accommodation will be provided for the successful applicant./li>
- Identified role: Under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community.
