- Base salary range: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. (HP4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
In this role, you will deliver high‑level physiotherapy services as part of a community‑based multidisciplinary allied health team supporting adults and older persons within the Townsville University Hospital catchment. You will act as a physiotherapy resource for staff, service managers, and consumers across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
Working collaboratively with Physiotherapists across community program streams—including intensive short‑term rehabilitation, hospital avoidance, and restorative care—you will provide advanced clinical leadership to HP3 therapists, therapy assistants, and students. This includes clinical supervision, education, and leading quality improvement activities that enhance service delivery.

Requirements:
- Qualification in physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution and current registration with, or eligibility for current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
- Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate. Queensland Health will facilitate applicants obtaining the above National Police Certificate.
