About us:
Mossman Hospital consists of an ED, Acute Ward (funded 13 beds), Aged Care (8 residents), Medical Imaging (USS & Xray only, business hours and on call after hours), Community Health and satellite Dialysis, whilst also offering outpatient services for Mental Health, ATODS, Maternity & Child Health.
About your opportunity:
In this position you will:
- Work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team utilising professional skills and ability to contribute to client centred care to meet the patient's individual health care needs.
- Demonstrate specialised knowledge, experience and clinical skills and competence in a particular area of expertise.
- Provide effective and efficient direct clinical care in Emergency and work in collaboration with the Nurse/Midwifery Unit Manger to ensure the maintenance of safe standards in patient care.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver advanced nursing care in complex situations and identifies and adopts innovative clinical practice models.
