What you'll do:

  • Contribute to the day-to-day processing of collections data within the Data Operations Unit, Data Services Branch to meet departmental, state and national reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance of statistical data provided to Data Operations Unit, Data Services Branch
  • To contribute to continuous improvement and implementation of procedures and systems for the timely collection and accurate processing of health and health related data
  • Provide specialist knowledge and guidance in data collections and systems within the Data Operations Unit
  • Assist with the identification, classification and/or coding of statistical data not completed at the source.

About you

We are searching for someone who:

  • Can demonstrate experience in the collection and processing of data.
  • Has the ability to identify and resolve data quality and processing issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Pocesses well-developed communication skills to enable effective interaction in individual and group situations both internal and external to the organisation
  • Can provide evidence of experience in the organisation of workflows and schedules, ability to work autonomously and with a team with respect to yourself and other staff.
  • Can acquire skills in classification and coding systems.
