About the role:

  • Assist to implement, monitor and evaluate the organisation's quality standards, policies, procedures and programs and support clinical governance processes in the relevant CQHHS work area.
  • Assist in the management processes and functions to identify and avoid or minimise risks to patients, employees, volunteers, visitors and the institution.
  • Support to provide specialist advice to CQHHS, committees and the business units on contemporary clinical audit, quality and continuous improvement initiative and measures to achieve quality and patient safety standards including NSQHSS, Aged Care and Disability Standards and other relevant quality standards.
  • Membership on relevant National Standard committees including preparation of quality and safety related reports specific to the committee.
  • Assist to develop the clinical audit and quality improvement strategy for CQHHS in relation to clinical audit and continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership and accountability to meet CQHHS Quality, Safety and Risk objectives.

About you:

  • Mandatory current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • A relevant postgraduate certificate or post graduate diploma is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and contribute to professional nursing practice with confidence and integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, patients, families and other stakeholders, including participation in relevant networks to achieve work unit outcomes.
  • Demonstrated successful track-record in clinical audit and quality improvement.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply the NSQHSS, Aged Care and Disability Standards and other relevant standards.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $139,252 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $57.48 - $61.55 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
