Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $128,169 to $137,918 p.a. (HP4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
A Senior Mental Health Clinician role is available for the new Crisis Support Space with the purpose of this role being to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the specialty of mental health.
The Senior Mental Health Clinician will support peer workers, overview, and manage risks within the CSS, and will work closely with emergency department within the hospital to support navigation to and from the CSS. A key component is the provision of a basic mental health triage function to ensure those requiring clinical support are referred on appropriately.
This is a permanent full-time position, located in Townsville.
Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable)
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
