This role helps ensure every family feels heard, respected, and supported on their child’s journey.

Your opportunity:

  • The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker will provide high-level cultural advice and culturally safe supports to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families engaging with the Child Development Service.
  • They will support the delivery of Child Development Service care by providing coaching and education to clinical staff enhancing culturally safe and responsive practice.

Under 25s of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $70,672 p.a., comprising salary between $39.00 - $52.06 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HWF3) (Permanent Part Time, 45.6 hours p.f.)
