An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Clinical Governance Facilitator to join the Clinical Governance Support Unit at the Hervey Bay Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:

  • Work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service, supporting managers and staff across clinical streams to ensure the principles of integrated governance are at the heart of service provision.
  • Support the organisation to meet Safety & Quality requirements as set in the Clinical Governance Framework, and Strategic Plan.
  • Facilitation, leadership and support to management teams, and multidisciplinary clinical staff in delivering improved care, including promoting best practice in clinical incident management, consumer engagement, quality improvement, risk identification, clinical audit and effectiveness and patient safety.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $76,386 p.a., comprising salary between $63.04 - $67.53 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO6) (Permanent Part Time, 38 hours p.f.)
