Your new role:

In this role, you'll deliver high-quality diagnostic audiology services while contributing to service innovation and team capability, by:

  • Providing evidence-based paediatric and adult diagnostic audiology services in an outpatient setting
  • Managing a complex clinical workload with increasing independence and sound clinical judgement
  • Performing advanced assessments including ABR, vestibular testing and electrocochleography
  • Acting as a key clinical resource within the Audiology team
  • Supporting service development, quality improvement and research initiatives
  • Supervising and mentoring junior clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants
  • Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

About you:

You are an experienced and motivated Audiologist who thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment, with:

  • Demonstrated expertise in paediatric and adult diagnostic audiology services
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills in complex patient scenarios
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and provide high-level clinical advice
  • Experience supervising and supporting junior staff and students
  • A commitment to continuous improvement, research and evidence-based practice
  • Well-developed time management and prioritisation skills in fast-paced settings
  • Eligibility for membership with Audiology Australia and relevant tertiary qualifications

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
