What you'll do
- Establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with other staff within the branch to ensure the alignment and
integration of operational services, processes and service levels across the branch. - Provide high level technical skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions
and improvements. - Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising
best practices in systems support and service delivery, preferably with the ITIL framework. - Ensure end to end service delivery for enterprise systems within Queensland Health.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Proven ability to participate in a highly skilled technical team providing high-level technical direction, standardisation and support of
enterprise infrastructure in a large customer focused organisation. (SFIA Code: ARCH 5; METL 5) - High level understanding and working knowledge of relevant technical domains (SFIA Code: TECH 5) :
o Windows 10, Windows 11
o Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
o Directory Services (Microsoft Active Directory and Novell eDirectory)
o Active Directory Group Policy administration and configuration
o Application packaging (MSI, application virtualisation, scripting technologies)
o Enterprise printing solutions (Novell iPrint) - Demonstrated skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and
improvements. (SFIA Code: DESN 5; ARCH 5; METL 5) - High-level communication skills to enable effective interaction in individual and group situations.
- Demonstrated ability or the ability to quickly learn eHealth Queensland's ITIL Service Management processes (primarily incident /
problem / change / config management). (SFIA Code: USUP 5; PBMG 5; CHMG 5; CFMG 5)
