About the role
The role of the Administration Officer is to support the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical staff of the Health Centres in the Prisons.
This position is required to work across the various Prison Health facilities across the Health Service. Potential applicants need to be aware that appointments within Prison Health Services apply to all Correctional Centre Facilities where Queensland Health provide nursing services.
There is an expectation the successful applicant will be able to work from any of the Correctional Centres as well as The Park - Centre for Mental Health at Wacol - providing backfill for other Administration Staff and/or to provide assistance during peak periods. The relief arrangements are planned however from time to time, there may be a requirement to transfer from one centre to another at very short notice.

Mandatory Requirements:
- A Queensland Corrective Services check will be undertaken on persons recommended for employment.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
