Your new role:
This is an advanced clinical leadership role responsible for delivering expert mental health nursing practice, with a specialist focus on Clozapine therapy across community and inpatient settings.
- Provide high-level clinical expertise, consultancy and leadership in mental health nursing, ensuring safe, evidence-based, person-centred care outcomes
- Lead the coordination, initiation, monitoring and optimisation of Clozapine therapy, including delivery of clinic services and GP Shared Care programs
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support clinical governance, service improvement and integrated care across the continuum
- Drive quality, education, and research initiatives while supporting workforce development and fostering a positive, high-performing clinical environment
About you:
You are an experienced and highly skilled mental health nurse who brings advanced clinical knowledge, strong leadership capability and a passion for improving consumer outcomes.
- Registered Nurse with current registration and demonstrated advanced expertise in mental health nursing, ideally with experience in Clozapine management
- Proven ability to work autonomously while leading and influencing multidisciplinary teams in complex clinical environments
- Strong clinical judgement, critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to provide expert advice, education and mentorship
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement, and delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care
