We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse to our Mental Health Inpatient Unit.

The Clinical Nurse leads and delivers person centred nursing care at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Registered Nurse Standards for Practice. This position provides a unique opportunity to utilise your mental health specific clinical expertise, advanced leadership and management skills to role model excellence in nursing care and leadership, within Mental Health and Specialised Service (MHSS).
Key Responsibilities include:
- Practice autonomously, and provide leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to particular recipients of healthcare services.
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Continuity of care and the promotion of patient safety and quality are paramount and informed by evidence-based practice consistent with national, state and local mental health policies and directions.
- A case management approach is utilised to facilitate seamless clinical care that encompasses the integration with primary health care, consultant psychiatrists, and other government and non-government service providers.
Remuneration value up to $97 476.40 p.a, comprising salary rates $57.48 - $61.55 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1) (part time, 53.2 hrs p.f.).
