This is a senior leadership opportunity for a midwife who is committed to woman-centred care, workforce excellence, and high-quality outcomes for women, babies, and families.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting midwifery practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Lead and coordinate a midwifery team and/or healthcare team and oversee and provide clinical support or relevant expertise.
- Oversees risk management systems for physical, social, cultural, psychological, and emotional safety and quality of clinical care.
