An exciting opportunity to join Hospital in the Home Services as a Senior Physiotherapist. Independently delivers high-level physiotherapy services, provides clinical leadership and supervision to staff and students, and acts as a key reference for physiotherapy and multidisciplinary stakeholders across CHHHS. About us:
Hospital in the Home (HITH) provides care in a patient's permanent or temporary residence for conditions that require ongoing clinical governance, monitoring and/or treatment, as a substitution for in-hospital admitted care.
Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service provide an extensive range of health services at more than 30 regional, rural and remote facilities across a geographical area of 142,900 square kilometres. The Health Service is 95 percent self-sufficient with only a small number of high-level acute services being provided in Townsville and Brisbane.

About your role:
- Deliver high level physiotherapy clinical and consultancy services as part of a multi-professional team, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Contribute to the daily operational management of the HITH team and organisation of the workload with allocated resources using planning, time management skills and prioritisation.
- Work cooperatively and effectively by maintaining timely, open and respectful communication (including accurate documentation and reporting) within multi-professional teams, with consumers, their families/carers and other health professionals, supervisors, students and researchers as required.
