The purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of laboratory infrastructure projects across Pathology Queensland, managing design, construction, commissioning and operational transition to ensure safe, efficient and high-performing laboratory environments.
What you'll do
In this role you will deliver capital works projects within operational laboratory environments, lead stakeholder engagement and consultation for design and planning, coordinate commissioning and transition activities, manage project risks and timelines, oversee vendors and contractors, prepare project documentation and reporting, and ensure projects are delivered in line with quality, safety and governance requirements.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Has experience delivering infrastructure or capital works projects
- Has experience in health, laboratory or complex operational environments
- Can manage high-risk projects with minimal disruption to services
- Has strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills
- Has strong project planning, risk management and delivery skills
- Has knowledge of government project frameworks and procurement processes
