We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) Reprocessing to Healthcare Quality and Standards.

The CNC Reprocessing provides leadership and assistance to the health service in achieving compliance to AS/NZS 5369:2023 regarding the reprocessing of reusable medical devices, including the compliance of infrastructure to support this.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate advanced specialist knowledge, experience and clinical skills in guiding the Health Service with achieving compliance with AS/NZS 5369:2023
- Evaluate current clinical practice and non-clinical processes and implement actions to address identified gaps to the AS/NZS 5369:2023 within the Health Service
- Demonstrate critical thinking and reasoning, advanced problem-solving skills and expert clinical judgement in relation to implementing change associated with AS/NZS 5369:2023
- Nominated as Medicine Store and S8 Safe Manager as per the Substance Management Plan for Sunshine Coast Health Regulated Places, as required
Remuneration value up to $173 368 p.a., comprising salary between $139 951 - $151 949 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Fixed Term Temporary position available for up to 12 months).
