Your new role:
As Director Allied Health (Strategy), you will provide strategic leadership and direction to shape and deliver allied health priorities across Metro South Health, driving innovation, reform, and system-wide impact. You will:
- Lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of allied health strategic and operational initiatives, aligning with local, state and national priorities
- Provide high-level, authoritative advice to senior executives on workforce, governance, education, and complex system reform
- Drive major, multi-year programs including clinical education, domestic and family violence initiatives, and NSQHS Standard 5: Comprehensive Care
- Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including government, universities, and non-government organisations, to deliver strategic outcomes
About you:
You are an accomplished and forward-thinking leader with a strong track record in strategic health service leadership, capable of influencing at executive and system levels. You have:
- Demonstrated expertise in leading complex, large-scale strategic initiatives within a health service or similarly complex environment
- Highly developed ability to provide expert advice, influence decision-making, and build strong stakeholder relationships across diverse sectors
- Exceptional communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive collaboration and organisational change
- Proven capability in innovation, service improvement, and translating policy into impactful, system-wide outcomes
