We are seeking a Board Support Officer (AO4) to support the CQHHS Board and its Committees.

This is not a standard administration role. You will work at the centre of the organisation, supporting the coordination, quality, and flow of information that underpins Board and executive decision-making. You will be part of a small, high-performing team in the Office of the Chief Executive, with exposure to complex, organisation-wide matters.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate Board and Committee meetings, including agendas, papers, and minutes
  • Support the preparation and quality assurance of relevant materials
  • Manage documentation through governance systems
  • Liaise with senior executives and stakeholders across the HHS
  • Track actions and ensure governance processes and timelines are met.

This role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

About you

Whilst desirable, we are not necessarily looking for extensive governance experience. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in accuracy
  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Is curious, proactive, and willing to learn
  • Exercises sound judgement and takes ownership of their work.
