Your new role:

As a Pharmacist, you will deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services within an interprofessional team, supporting safe and effective patient care across the continuum.

  • Provide clinical assessment, medication management, patient education, and discharge planning
  • Manage a diverse caseload with increasing clinical independence and sound judgement
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient-centred outcomes
  • Contribute to quality improvement, research, and clinical education activities

You are a motivated and adaptable professional with a passion for delivering high-quality healthcare and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centred, evidence-based clinical pharmacy services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team

About us:

The Pharmacy service at QEII Jubilee Hospital provides medication management services 7 days per week. Our team of approximately 28 FTE pharmacists are assisted in their roles by over 9 support staff (including clinical assistants and administrative officers).

Services provided by QEII Pharmacy include:

  • Clinical pharmacy services to inpatient units, outpatient/preadmission clinics, hospital in the home.
  • Pharmacy Dispensary – processing inpatient, outpatient, and discharge prescriptions.
  • Inventory and stock management.
  • Imprest management and distribution services for all areas across the campus.
  • Education and training including facilitation of numerous student placements and intern pharmacist/s.
  • Professional representation on many local and Statewide governance, safety, clinical or operational committees, steering groups, and collaboratives.
