What your day could look like

You're a midwife who believes continuity of care changes lives. You bring clinical confidence, warmth and respect into every interaction, and you're proud of the relationships you build with women, families and colleagues. Guided by compassion, integrity and courage, you value reflective practice and thrive in environments where innovation and dignity are encouraged.

You're not just here to deliver care—you're here to shape experiences, advocate for women, and contribute to a community that values connection and trust.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Current registration as a midwife with the relevant national authority
  • Experience delivering continuity or caseload midwifery care across the maternity journey
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication and collaborative skills
  • A commitment to culturally safe, women‑centred practice

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in rural or regional practice and/or relevant postgraduate study.

Most importantly, you'll be passionate about making a real difference—every family, every day—while living the values of compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage.
