What your day could look like
As a Social Worker – Clinical Leader, you'll play a vital role in strengthening care for patients and supporting clinicians across Darling Downs Health. You'll balance advanced clinical practice with leadership, ensuring social work services are responsive, ethical and make a genuine difference for the community we serve.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Providing expert clinical leadership in complex cases, helping patients and families navigate critical moments with dignity and care
- Guiding and mentoring social workers through supervision, advice and capability building to lift practice across the service
- Influencing service improvement by shaping standards, pathways and innovative approaches to care
- Partnering with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to improve continuity of care and patient outcomes

- Eligibility for professional membership as a qualified social worker
- Advanced clinical experience managing complex situations in a health or community setting
- Strong leadership, communication and judgement, with the ability to influence and guide others

You'll stand out from the crowd if you bring experience leading practice improvement initiatives and/or postgraduate study relevant to your clinical field.
