About the role
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical services to consumers with complex mental health needs, consistent with Social Work / Psychology / Occupational Therapy. Working within a multidisciplinary team, provide assessment, treatment, and care planning for consumers, their families, carers, and stakeholders across acute and community settings.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver competent-level social work / psychology / occupational therapy clinical services to consumers with severe and complex mental health needs within a multidisciplinary team, in accordance with professional practice, ethical, and mental health standards to ensure culturally appropriate, consumer-focused outcomes.
- Actively participate in the multidisciplinary team by providing social work / psychology / occupational therapy specific clinical advice and education, and by contributing to the development of care plans and discharge planning to achieve optimal outcomes for consumers.
- Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within the clinical service area and actively participate in quality and service improvement / research activities that enhance the delivery of clinical services and support achievement of key performance indicators.
