About the role:
The Health Practitioner Research Fellow is responsible for informing, guiding and facilitating the strategic research agenda for health practitioners of Central Queensland Health. The position applies leadership through recognised research knowledge, skills and expertise to engage health practitioners across the research continuum leading to increased health practitioner research activity in Central Queensland health and clinical and service improvement and innovation. The role will coordinate and promote research translation and research capability and capability building for health practitioners.
About you:
- Mandatory appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. In addition, the successful applicant must demonstrate at least one or more of the following:
- A Research Masters or PhD in the relevant discipline/profession
- Equivalent significant publishing history
- A history of success in obtaining competitive research grants
- Post-doctoral track record in clinical research methodology including specific knowledge, expertise and skill in a health practitioner discipline specific area and/or multi-disciplinary areas of relevance to health practitioner practice.
- Demonstrated ability in managing research across multiple settings.
- Demonstrated ability in providing strategic direction in line with organisational priorities and developing internal and external collaborations to achieve these priorities.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in implementing education and training in research methodology for all clinical staff, and mentor/supervise post-graduate research student.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $80,331 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $81.47 - $84.33 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
