Your new role:
As Service Line Director Women's and Children's, you will provide executive leadership and strategic direction for a critical and growing portfolio across Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals.
Working in close partnership with the Executive Director and senior leaders across Metro South Health, you will drive service excellence, strengthen clinical governance, and ensure care is aligned to organisational priorities and community needs. Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Delivering excellence in clinical governance, safety, and quality outcomes
- Driving service planning and expansion, including the Logan Hospital Expansion Program
- Providing high-level strategic advice to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Strengthening patient-centred care through community and consumer engagement
- Managing financial performance, budget integrity, and service efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with national standards, clinical governance requirements, and performance targets
About you:
You are an accomplished executive leader with significant experience in complex healthcare environments, ideally within women's and/or children's services. You bring strategic vision, strong governance expertise, and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care. Your skills and experience include:
- Proven executive leadership experience in large, complex health services
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering high-performing, inclusive cultures
- Strong written skills with experience preparing executive-level documentation
- Commitment to equity, cultural capability, and improving outcomes for diverse communities
- Demonstrated success in leading service expansion and transformation
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate evidence into practice

Logan Hospital:
Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
