About the opportunity
To develop, deliver and evaluate effective computer-based training initiatives to support the implementation of the integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) within Digital Healthcare Program (DHP).
The role will focus on the delivery of effective computer-based training to support the implementation of the ieMR within Townsville University Hospital and associated off-site in-scope sites and services.
PLEASE NOTE - This is a permanent full-time role.
Role requirements
- Educational qualifications (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment) and/or considerable experience in computer-based training are highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience with the delivery of ieMR training modules is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class ‘C' motor vehicle to meet operational requirements.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.

- Salary range: $3586.00 - $3950.80 p.f. (AO4)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading

The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
- Knowledge of or an ability to develop an understanding of training deliverables.
- Ability to contribute to the development and provision of learning activities, including the design, creation, packaging and maintenance of materials and resources for use in education and training.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a healthcare or comparable complex adult training environment.
- High level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, organise work priorities and lead training activities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of corporate applications and other software specifically utilised by Queensland Health (i.e. specifically HBCIS).
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills to enable effective interaction in individual and group.
