About the role
The Paediatric Allied Health Director provides high-level operational and strategic management in the development, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives for the multidisciplinary Allied Health teams within West Moreton Paediatric Services.
As a key figure in operational, managerial, and strategic leadership, the role shapes the direction of the Allied Health workforce, aligning service delivery across multiple specialties and settings with HHS priorities and broader State and National imperatives.
The role ensures effective service delivery across community, specialist child development, sub-acute and acute settings, applying expert-level clinical knowledge and judgement to inform service planning, development, and evaluation of services and initiatives.
Through strategic partnerships, the role will advocate and influence service innovation, improvement and implementation, fostering a positive, inclusive team culture focused on high performance, psychological safety and improved health outcomes for children and families.
