About the role
Coordinates waste and recycling services across northern Metro North sites, providing management, planning and staff advice.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Plan, implement and manage waste and recycling services at the Metro North Satellite Health Centres.
- Identify and investigate new opportunities to implement circular economy principles throughout the sites you are responsible for, forming partnerships with external suppliers and recycling facilities.
- Formulate and implement appropriate initiatives in support of environmental and waste management strategies.
- Conduct proactive waste and recycling audits throughout your sites to ensure optimal waste management practices are occurring
- Deliver and implement continuing educational programs for waste management, recycling and sustainability for your sites.
