About us:
Oral Health Services form part of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) and provide public dental care to eligible adults and children across Far North Queensland. Services are delivered through a network of community, school‑based and outreach dental clinics, including Cairns North and multiple rural and remote locations.
The unit delivers preventive, general and emergency oral health services and is supported by multidisciplinary teams consisting of dentists, oral health therapists, dental assistants and administrative staff. Oral Health Services are committed to improving oral health outcomes, reducing health inequities and delivering care aligned with Queensland Health policies and CHHHS priorities.

About your role:
- Demonstrate management expertise, knowledge and skills obtained through experience, formal qualification(s), higher education or professional development.
- Demonstrate high level of advanced clinical knowledge and experience to deliver clinical services in an autonomous work environment and provide professional advice to staff across the Cairns Oral Health Service.
- Provide clinical advice and authoritative counsel to relevant stakeholders on matters falling within area of professional knowledge, expertise and responsibility of Dental and Oral Health Therapy.
- Collaborate with senior management, staff and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective cooperation within and across work units to enhance service delivery, quality outcomes and client services for Cairns Oral Health Service.
