The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality specimen collection services, ensuring accurate patient identification, collection and handling of samples to support effective diagnostic testing and patient care.
What you'll do
In this role you will collect blood and non-blood specimens from patients, ensure correct patient identification and labelling, use electronic systems for specimen tracking, communicate with patients and clinical staff, maintain stock and clean work areas, support quality and accreditation requirements, and contribute to efficient specimen collection services across hospital sites.

- Has experience or the ability to perform phlebotomy procedures
- Has strong communication and patient care skills
- Can work accurately in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Can manage time and prioritise workloads effectively
- Has strong attention to detail and follows procedures
- Is flexible to work across a range of shifts and locations
