The role:

Reporting to the Manager, ICT Test Management and Assurance Service, Delivery Support Services, you will maintain relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communications and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.

You will support and coordinate test management services and practices by responding to day‑to‑day queries and stakeholder engagements, providing ongoing administrative support, and managing end‑to‑end recruitment for testing services, ensuring solutions remain responsive to customer needs and sustainable within an enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with QPS values as outlined above.
  • Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe, services and workplaces.
  • Assist in the delivery of specialised and/or small work packages involving IM/ICT, ensuring solutions delivered are responsive to customer needs and sustainable in an enterprise environment.
  • Monitor and report on work package activities against agreed criteria.
  • Support risk and issue identification, assessment and mitigation activities by ensuring risks and issues are documented, reviewed and escalated as appropriate.
  • Maintain program/project files in accordance with Queensland Health regulations and policies. Assist with the compilation of project management reports and other general administrative tasks.
  • Maintain relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communications and fosters relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
  • Perform administrative functions and other duties as directed by the Project Manager/Supervisor.

 Are you right for this role?

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Demonstrate analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliver outcomes within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities.
  • Possess knowledge of the IM/ICT project lifecycle and experience working within an ICT program or project environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to assist with program and project financial management and compilation of program and project information.
  • Demonstrate the ability to assist in maintaining program and project files/records and prepare management reports.
  • Undertake administrative functions and other duties as directed by the Manager or Supervisor.

Furthermore, the preferred candidate will have knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools (preferably PRINCE2).
