Your new role:

As a Registered Nurse in Hepatology Outpatients, you'll deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to build specialist expertise in hepatology while developing your clinical judgement and autonomy in a supportive environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to outpatients
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care holistically
  • Work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams
  • Coordinate care and contribute to smooth patient flow
  • Support and delegate care to ENs, AINs and students as appropriate

About us:

The Hepatology Ambulatory Service is committed to providing high quality patient centred care to patients with Liver Disease through specialist outpatient clinics and inpatient services. Medical, nursing and allied health integrated sessions are conducted daily with services also provided to the Secure Unit. It has a significant Viral Hepatitis and Non- Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease caseload and liaises closely with the Liver Transplant Team. The service also provides a research site for clinical trials and research through grant and industry support.
