Your new role:
In this role, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and drive innovation in surgical care pathways, improving patient outcomes and system performance.
- Lead and coordinate the implementation of Day Surgery by Default and Criteria Led Discharge models across Surgical Services
- Provide expert clinical consultancy, supporting multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
- Drive data-informed clinical redesign, stakeholder engagement and change management initiatives to optimise surgical flow
- Collaborate across facilities to embed consistent care pathways and improve patient experience and service delivery
About you:
You are an experienced and forward-thinking clinical leader who brings advanced nursing expertise and a passion for service improvement.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and leadership in surgical or perioperative nursing practice
- Proven ability to lead change, influence stakeholders and implement evidence-based models of care
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to drive service improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and build capability in others
