About the role
The role is responsible for independent clinical decision-making within scope of delegation, with a strong focus on participant safety, protocol compliance, and high-quality trial conduct.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Senior-level clinical competence in the assessment and management of people with mental illness (or relevant clinical population)
- Ability to make independent clinical decisions within a research and governance framework
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, risk management, and patient safety principles
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively across clinical and research environments
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous quality improvement, and ethical research conduct
- Knowledge (or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge) of National and State Mental Health directions and legislation relevant to the provision of specialist mental health services.
