About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to provide high-level and high-quality, evidence-based clinical psychology services, leadership and case co-ordination as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team to consumers of the Older Persons Mental Health Service
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide evidence-based high level assessment, treatment, risk management, care co-ordination and discharge facilitation to a varied and complex caseload across the continuum of care within the Older Persons Mental Health Service, including the provision of services within the home.
- Provision of culturally safe psychological screening and assessment (including the use of specialised psychological measures such as self-report rating scales, personality inventories, intellectual, cognitive, and capacity assessment) to assist with diagnosis, formulation, and treatment. This includes the interpretation of test results and the provision of written reports to inform treatment and guide referrals.
