Your new role:
Step into a rewarding senior psychology role delivering high-quality care across complex inpatient and outpatient services within Metro South Health. Based at the newly expanded Redland Hospital, including Amity Ward and a state-of-the-art ICU, you'll thrive in a modern, collaborative clinical environment. In this role, you will:
- Deliver specialised psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions for patients with complex medical presentations across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Support diverse specialty areas including geriatrics, ICU, dialysis and medical clinics
- Work autonomously within a highly supportive multidisciplinary team, contributing expert clinical advice, care planning and patient outcomes
- Drive innovation through quality improvement, research, supervision and clinical education initiatives
About you:
You are a passionate and experienced psychologist who enjoys working in dynamic healthcare environments and is committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care. You will bring:
- Advanced clinical skills in psychological assessment, formulation and intervention within complex healthcare settings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams
- The ability to confidently manage a varied and fast-paced caseload with professionalism, autonomy and sound clinical judgement
- Experience, or a strong interest, in supervision, leadership, service development and continuous improvement initiatives

Redland Psychology Department:
The Redland Psychology Department is based at Redland Hospital and delivers clinical services across all Redlands facilities including Redland Bay Satellite Health Centre. Redlands Psychology is an expanding and innovative specialist service within the hospital and community service centres with a diverse skill mix of Psychologists including paediatric diabetes; acute medical and complex inpatients; neuropsychology, kidney dialysis, physiotherapy outpatients, specialist medical clinics. Located just a short drive from Brisbane CBD, Redland Hospital offers the benefits of working in a growing metropolitan health service while enjoying a supportive, community-focused environment and beautiful bayside lifestyle.
