We're excited to welcome an Advanced Clinical Assistant / Allied Health Assistant to our Transition Care Program / Post Acute Care Service.

As a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member, you will contribute to total patient management by providing advanced clinical support tasks delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of an Allied Health Professional (AHP). Contribute to the efficient operation of the Transition Care Program / Post Acute Care Services by undertaking other non-treatment activities as required.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • This position requires you to adhere to National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Sunshine Coast Health Safe Care Framework, which has been developed in collaboration with staff, consumers and key stakeholders to enable our vision of health and wellbeing through person-centred care.
  • The role of Advanced Clinical Assistant is a delegated position which usually works under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional. Clinical Assistants report to their supervising Allied Health Professional on an ongoing basis and the Allied Health Professional remains responsible for clinical decision making, treatment planning and evaluation.
  • Provide a defined range of specialised clinical screening assessments for patients with complex needs, as delegated and allowed by testing guidelines and legislation.

Remuneration value up to $46 406 p.a., comprising salary rates: $38.36 - $41.02 p.h. (p/t), Remuneraton Value up to $92 813 p.a., comprising salary between $2916.00 -$3118.00 p.f (f/t) or salary $38.36 - $41.02 p.h. (p/t) employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (CA4) (Permanent part time 38hrs p.f. & Fixed term temporary full time and part time positions available, hours negotiable for 3 months, possibility of extension).
