About the role
The purpose of this position within the Post Acute Care Service is to apply high level Occupational Therapy skills and knowledge in the assessment and delivery of care to consumers in the local population to promote, maintain and improve their health, functional ability and quality of life.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Exercise independent professional clinical judgement in providing Occupational Therapist clinical services of a complex nature where principles, procedures, techniques or methods require expansion, adaptation or modification, without the need for direct regular clinical practice supervision
- Apply clinical evidence to practice supporting continuous improvement of quality service delivery
- Contribute to clinical research activities in Post Acute Care Service as required.
