The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Data Engineer to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Apply corporate best practices for Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) system and data processes
  • Lead data service delivery and all aspects of provision of quality data
  • Undertake analysis of complex health care data to provide business-critical information
  • Liaise and consult with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Research new technology and techniques, apply innovative solutions and provide technical advice

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • Experience and proficiency in the cloud data platform including Snowflake, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

  • Temporary full time (up to 28 February 2027 with possibility of extension)
  • Base salary ranging from $5 370.60 – $5 763.70 per fortnight
