Metro South Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Allied Health professional to join Paediatric Services at Logan Hospital as a Paediatric Integrated Care Coordinator. This temporary part-time opportunity (0.6 FTE, up to 12 months) provides operational management and strategic leadership to an interprofessional team, delivering high-quality, patient-centred paediatric care in a collaborative and innovative healthcare environment.

Your new role:

In this role, you will lead and coordinate paediatric allied health services to ensure effective, high-quality care delivery and service innovation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing operational leadership and management of an interprofessional paediatric team, including workforce planning, rostering, and performance support
  • Delivering advanced clinical leadership for complex paediatric cases, including care coordination, discharge planning, and service transitions
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders and senior leaders to achieve service objectives, quality outcomes, and strategic priorities

About you:

You are an experienced Allied Health professional and leader with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality paediatric care and driving service excellence.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Advanced clinical expertise in paediatric service delivery with a strong focus on patient-centred care
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams, workloads, and service delivery in complex healthcare environments
  • Highly developed communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement abilities across multidisciplinary teams
  • A strong track record in service improvement, innovation, and research, with the ability to implement and evaluate new models of care
