Deliver expert Haematology Flow Cytometry diagnostic and consultative services that are timely, accurate, cost-effective, and responsive to the needs of clinicians across Queensland. You will play a key role in shaping and advancing statewide service delivery, partnering with colleagues to develop and implement contemporary frameworks, consistent standards, and innovative strategies that align with best practice and support excellence in patient care state-wide. A competitive salary applies which includes base salary, vocational training subsidy, professional development leave, examination leave, 5 weeks annual leave and 12.75% superannuation.

Key competencies (role specific criteria)

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated contemporary knowledge, skills and ability in flow cytometry as it pertains to haematology,and high level of professionalism required in the position, especially objectivity.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills necessary for all aspects of the position.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and abilities necessary to conduct relevant training, teaching, research, investigation, analysis and management
  • Knowledge of the ISO 15189 and NATA Medical Testing Requirements demonstrating continued accreditation in your clinical specialty for all laboratories across a diverse network.
