Your new role:
Join a progressive and growing Women's & Children's Service where you will strengthen the skills and experience needed to transition from Senior Registrar to Consultant, by:
- Delivering high-quality inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynaecology care.
- Managing complex and high-risk obstetric presentations in a busy labour ward environment.
- Rotating through generalist teams with access to subspecialty clinics and special interest services.
- Participating in after-hours senior registrar rosters for Birth Suite and acute gynaecology care.
- Supporting education, supervision and assessment of junior medical staff and trainees.
- Contributing to leadership, service improvement, audits, research and clinical governance activities.
- Developing administration and leadership capability with protected non-clinical time.
- Gaining opportunities to complete approved Advanced Training Modules and career-enhancing rotations.
About you:
You are a motivated Advanced Trainee or Senior Registrar committed to excellence in women's healthcare, with:
- Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Current or upcoming Advanced Trainee status with RANZCOG.
- Strong clinical capability in obstetrics, gynaecology and emergency patient management.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced multidisciplinary hospital environment.
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families and healthcare teams.
- Commitment to teaching, mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
- A proactive approach to quality improvement, safety and continuous learning.
- Professionalism, integrity, compassion and respect in all interactions.
