Your new role:

As a valued member of the Medical Imaging team, you will deliver safe, high-quality imaging services while supporting excellent patient outcomes through teamwork and clinical expertise by:

  • Performing a broad range of routine and complex medical imaging examinations.
  • Providing compassionate, patient-centred care during all imaging procedures.
  • Maintaining radiation safety standards and clinical protocols.
  • Working collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Supporting students, junior staff and less experienced practitioners through supervision and guidance.
  • Contributing to service improvement, quality assurance and evidence-based practice initiatives.
  • Participating in shift work, after-hours and on-call rosters as required.

About you:

You are a motivated and professional Radiographer who is passionate about patient care and committed to ongoing development, with:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and registration with the relevant professional authority.
  • Current Use Licence issued by Radiation Health Queensland.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality imaging examinations safely and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • A commitment to mentoring, coaching and supporting others.
  • Proven focus on continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple facilities and varied shifts.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
