About your opportunity
This role offers a meaningful opportunity to provide clinical expertise, guidance and education to nursing staff within a supportive rural MPHS setting. You will draw on your clinical skills and experience to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based and person‑centred care to patients, while supporting families and working collaboratively with colleagues across the Richmond MPHS.
You will be part of a dynamic service that supports a 10‑bed rural facility, including 4 aged care beds and 6 acute inpatient beds, and contributes to the Hospital Based Ambulance Service (First Responder) for the Richmond community and surrounding areas. This position provides a varied and rewarding scope of practice and the chance to make a real difference within a close‑knit community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position and registration with AHPRA
- Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which may include participation in an on-call roster.
- Adult Life Support certificate: Must obtain and maintain an annual competency in Advanced Life Support as per THHSCLI040151 Life Support Training and Assessment
