You will be an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist, who undertakes duties with a high level of independence. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing and validating a broad range of complex and varied histological, cytological and immunohistochemical investigations consistently and accurately. Two roles available one full time and one part time at 45.6hrs/fn.

Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in Anatomical Pathology techniques and its application in a diagnostic laboratory.
- Demonstrated ability (or ability to rapidly acquire the skill) to identify, develop and implement quality and service improvement activities in accordance with NATA/ISO accreditation / certification.
- Proven willingness and ability to actively participate in and contribute to continuing education and other professional development activities.
- Proven ability to work and communicate effectively within a team environment to achieve the goals of the work unit including the meeting of critical deadlines.
- Demonstrated high levels of attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks within the anatomical pathology laboratory
- Availability to participate in roster system across the operating hours of the department.
