Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Partnering closely with anaesthetists, nurses and theatre teams to achieve the best outcomes
  • Responding calmly and confidently in complex or time‑critical situations
  • Contributing ideas that strengthen safety, learning and continuous improvement

Let's talk about you!

You're calm under pressure, technically capable, and deeply committed to patient safety and dignity. You bring compassion to every interaction, act with integrity, and take pride in being someone your team can rely on when it matters most. What motivates you is knowing your skills help people feel safe, supported and cared for at some of their most vulnerable moments.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting anaesthetic services in acute or perioperative settings
  • The ability to collaborate, communicate clearly and adapt in fast‑paced environments
  • A commitment to quality care, safety and continuous learning

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in regional or rural health settings and/or additional training or postgraduate study in perioperative or anaesthetic practice.

Above all, we're looking for someone who lives our values of compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage- and wants to use their expertise to make a lasting difference for patients and communities across the Darling Downs.

Together, this role delivers safe surgery, strong teamwork, and care that truly matters.
