The role 

The Senior Business Analyst delivers strong business analysis outcomes across enhancements, projects and initiatives supporting a large‑scale and complex Identity and Access Management solution. Reporting to the Principal Business Analyst, this role will work closely with technical and operational teams to identify, analyse and solve business problems and support the design, documentation and implementation of identity and access management solutions. The role will build positive relationships with business stakeholders to consult and implement agreed change activities and support the adoption working closely with the change and release team. The role will work in a team that is driven by strong orientation towards technical, business and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Capture and analyse ‘As-Is' and ‘To-Be' business process models and other business analysis artefacts using approved methods and tools.
  • Develop business and software requirements specifications for ICT projects, ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
  • Provide a support and mentoring role for other business analysts within the team.
  • Actively participate in a team of specialist technical and operational resources in the delivery of complex technical solutions.
  • Liaise with test team to ensure business/software requirements are incorporated into testing products.

About you

We are searching for someone who:

  • Demonstrable experience performing business analysis activities within large enterprise projects, with experience in the identity and access management domain highly regarded.
  • Experience in capturing and analysing ‘
  • As-Is' and ‘To-Be' business process models across large initiatives, preferably using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN).
  • Knowledge in, and an ability to provide sound advice and recommendations on the application of appropriate business analysis techniques, methodologies and tools, preferably aligned with Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).
  • Proven effective consultation, facilitation, written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment driven by strong customer focus.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • While not mandatory, experience in Agile environments and business analysis qualifications will be highly regarded.
  • Business analysis qualifications and experience with tools like Visio is desirable.
