About the role
The Learning and Development Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening workforce capability across Metro North Health by supporting the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of education and training activities. Working closely with clinical and non‑clinical teams, this role ensures staff have access to high‑quality learning programs, fit‑for‑purpose education spaces and modern learning resources.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- The Learning and Development Coordinator must demonstrate an ability to work effectively with all levels of staff across all professional streams providing advice and support in the development and delivery of education activities and resources.
- Ongoing development, coordination, and facilitation of the All-Staff Orientation Program.
- Development and implementation of learning management system's capacity to maximise value to education staff and end users.
- Demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic approach to daily tasks and have demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads, problem solve and to use initiative during the day.
