About us:
Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service is dedicated to providing great care for our community. Our Allied Health team is a vital pillar of this mission, working collaboratively across medical and nursing streams to optimize patient recovery and well-being in a region that prizes connection, community spirit, and work-life balance.
About the role:
- Provide strategic leadership and high-level management of a 7-day Physiotherapy service.
- Design, implement, monitor, and evaluate the Allied Health Clinical Governance Framework.
- Maintain accountability for professional standards ensuring practice meets AHPRA and Board requirements.
- Manage the operational, human resource, and financial functions of a complex Physiotherapy service.
- Lead high-level relationships with universities to expand research and clinical education capacity.
- Represent Physiotherapy and Allied Health on area, state-wide, and national forums.
About you:
- You hold a degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
- You possess expert clinical knowledge and the ability to resolve complex service challenges.
- You are a strategic leader capable of managing large teams and multi-million dollar budgets.
- You have highly developed negotiation skills to advocate for resources and achieve strategic goals.
- You are committed to fostering an inclusive team culture and delivering culturally safe care.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $190,788 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $161,540 - $167,217 p.a.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
