The purpose of this position is to undertake design, development, implementation and maintenance of complex Workbrain system enhancements and modifications to cost effectively meet business requirements. The Principal Developer, Product Development Infor WFM (Workbrain) ensures that Queensland Health’s integrated Infor WFM (Workbrain) solution is properly designed, configured, developed, documented, implemented, maintained and reviewed, in order to provide ongoing best practice and quality service to clients.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor senior developers in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining system enhancements and modifications in the delivery of the Queensland Health rostering and payroll solutions.
  • Analysis of business requirements and system specifications. Provide specialised expertise and advice to staff and management, ensuring developments are aligned to business requirements and system development standards.
  • Analyse and solve complex system and business problems and provide innovative solutions within the project or release timeframes.

Key competencies/suitability (role specific criteria and personal qualities)

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

  • Demonstrated extensive experience in business application development technologies, particularly application development technologies and trends in relation to the solution responsibility of this team (Infor WFM Workbrain) and the ability to apply this knowledge in a complex IT environment.
  • Proven ability in the application of Java programming, Workbrain development in an integrated HR and Rostering solution. Awareness of Third Party development tools such as Websphere, weblogic, IntelliJ, GIT, Tortoise SVN.
  • Proven experience in Structured Query Language (SQL).
